ESA STUDENT INCENTIVES - July 1, 2010 - Dec 31, 2011
__________________________________________________________
These are difficult times. In an effort to help students continue their training we are pleased to offer the following discounts.
For those who do not complete the classes in these time frames there is no penalty, but they are not eligible for the additional discount.
We hope that this will help those who are looking to supplement their current income, or start a new career doing something they love, in the field of natural horse/hoof care

** The start date for this program is July 1, 2010. Students who are currently enrolled will be allowed one month to complete each class in the current term for which they have not already taken the final. e.g. if you have taken 3 finals in first term, you will have 3 months to complete the other 3 classes in order to be eligible for the A discount for second term. If you have taken 1 final, you will have 5 months to complete the other 5 classes etc.
Why the ESA makes sense
Most hoof care issues do not originate in the hoof. If you have the education and experience to be able to assess a horse, help determine where the problem originates and recommend the appropriate professional (chiropractic, saddle fit, dental, etc.) to address the issue, not only will your job with the feet be much easier, but you will gain the respect and trust of your community including other equine professionals. If you fail to recognize mitigating factors that are adversely affecting the hooves, your trimming skills will be called into question when the feet don’t improve. The ESA gives you the comprehensive education needed to properly evaluate and address complex issues in the field. Simply learning to trim is not enough.
