FALL 2008 ORIENTATION

As part of the ESA "Equinomic Stimulus Package" there is a 20% discount on Fall 2008 Orientation Fees

Registration 
 
Space is limited, and will be on a first come, first serve basis.  We suggest early registration to assure a spot. 
Payment of fees completes your registration.  If you wish to audit, please contact us first to check on availability. 
 
Requirements 
 
You must have applied and been accepted into the Academy, or been approved as an auditor, and fees must be paid in full to register.  More details on tools, materials required etc. will be sent to students and auditors once they are registered. 
 
Dates 
 
The session will start on Wednesday, September 24th early in the morning.  We ask that students arrive on Tues, Wed Sept 23 to get checked in and situated.  There will be a meet and greet in the evening on the 23rd.   Classes will be held on Sept 24 - 27.  We recommend departure on Sunday, Sept 28, but students are free to leave after classes end on Saturday.  There will be an Academy dinner on Saturday night. 
 
Location 
 
The Orientation session will be held in Eminence, Missouri on the Jack's Fork and Current rivers.  This is a beautiful area, and there  are three bands of wild horses nearby.

Accomodations 
 
Reservations have been made at Shady Lane cabins   Rooms have been booked and paid for as a group, so contact ESA directly regarding room reservations.  You will need to pay ESA for your room in full by Sept 1, 2008 to reserve a space.  In order to share costs, all rooms are currently  booked as doubles.  If you wish to have your own room, please let us know and we will see if other space is available.  Any reservation not paid in full by Sept 1, 2008 will be released, and you will be responsible for finding your own accomodations.  Students are also free to find their own accomodations if they wish.  There is camping available in the area. 
 
Cancellations 
 
If you have paid for your room and need to cancel, you must cancel by Sept 1, 2008 or you will lose first and last night's deposit.

Travel 
 
The nearest major airport is St. Louis, Missouri.  See the map below for more information on area airports.  Contact us if you would like to share a rental car if needed or carpool, and we will put students in touch with each other to work out details.
