ORIENTATION WEEK
________________________________________________________________________

This workshop is open to the public, however enrolled students will have first priority. For all attendees, Orientation week is a group session that will provide you with a comprehensive overview of natural horse and hoof care, an introduction to and overview of the program and an introduction to hands on field work.  Whenever possible, weather and other circumstances permitting, the workshop will also include a wild horse field trip.

For attendees other than students, this workshop will give you a good understanding of the concepts of natural horse and hoof care.  It will illuminate for you the disparities between widespread conventional practices, and the ever expanding understanding of the true needs of domesticated equines.  It will also give you a solid basis for re-evaluating a horse's environment, diet, feet, training, physical issues, mental health etc., and the resources available to address all those issues.

For enrolled students, the workshop is the foundation you'll need for your studies.  The Orientation week is also a great opportunity to meet fellow students and start developing a support and business network.

Details and requirements for Orientation week will be provided on the website.

For any workshop, attendees are required to wear appropriate clothing, be on time, bring required materials and fully participate.
